• ADA Exchange: 1 Tablespoon of Thick-It 2 = 1/3 Fruit Exchange = 4g Carbohydrates (metabolized like fruit sugar).

Sprinkle in Thick-It 2 while stirring briskly until dissolved. Or use a hand mixer or blender at low speed for no more than 5-10 seconds. Do Not Over Mix. After mixing, wait 30 seconds for liquid to thicken.

    • Nectar consistency, 2 tsp-1 tbsp;
    • Honey consistency, 1 - 1-1/2 tbsp;
    • Pudding consistency, 1-1/2 - 2 tbsp.
    For Pureed Foods
    • Nectar consistency, 1/2 tsp;
    • Honey consistency, 1 tsp;
    • Pudding consistency, 1/2 tbsp.
  • For Nutritional Supplements
    • Nectar consistency, 1 - 1-1/2 tbsp;
    • Honey consistency, 2 tbsp;
    • Pudding consistency, 2 - 1/2 tbsp.
